Carlos Restrepo is a classical double bass player, having studied in Toronto, New York & Montreal. He has participated in summer festivals such as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Institute, Orford Music Academy, and Vermont Mozart Festival. He also enjoys playing chamber music, having performed Stravinsky’s Soldier’s Tale at the Manhattan School of Music, and Schubert’s Trout Quintet at McGill University. His current teachers include Ed Tait and Dylan Palmer.

Beyond music Carlos is interested in strength and conditioning. Carlos has interviewed leading experts on topics related to music and fitness, talking to spine specialist Dr. Stuart McGill, top selling calisthenics author Steve Low, & NBA Sport Psychologist Graham Betchart. Carlos is intrigued at applying concepts that are used in the athletic world to the performing arts, in order to improve performance and wellness.
