Twenty-two-year-old Canadian cellist, Haena Lee, began playing cello in South Korea when she turned ten years old. Soon after, her family moved to Canada and she continued to pursue her cello studies. As a participant in numerous festivals and competitions, she has won various scholarships, prizes and performance opportunities such as the Canadian Music Competition. Ms.Lee began her musical dreams at Mount Royal’s Advanced Performance Program, getting the privilege to work with many world-renowned artists including Frans Helmerson, Lynn Harell, Colin Carr, and more. Notably, she has performed as a soloist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in 2012 and Calgary Youth Orchestra in 2015. Ms. Lee is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University with Brian Manker
